I am renovating a 50 year old house and having replaced all the internal lighting with flush mounted LEDs I was looking to change out the switches with dimmables. I bought this one as a trial to check compatibility with the dimmable LEDs. What a revelation. Easy to fit, easy (and silent) to use and appearance is stylishly elegant. I have only just ordered the remote so I cannot speak of that ability. The real surprise is/was when turning the lights on they soft fade to full power. If you dim the lights and turn them off, the next time you turn them on the return immediately to the dimmed state. Given the success with this trial I have just ordered another 7 of differing configurations along with both the small and large remote controls. Price is cheaper than old fashioned mechanical units and a sleeker look.
